Duke University provides ADA accessible free bus
service to all Campuses and the Medical Center for students, employees,
patients and visitors. Use the tab bar above the photograph to see specific
route and schedule information. Campus route schedules are in effect during
the Fall and Spring Semesters. Medical Center route schedules are year
round. All schedules are subject to change based upon changing passenger
demand. Any changes will be posted in the "Alerts!" tab above.
"Campus" routes primarily provide service
connecting residential, academic, and Perimeter lot locations on East,
Central, North (Trent), and West campuses.
"Medical Center" routes primarily provide
service connecting surface and garage parking to Hospital North, Hospital
South, and administrative buildings.
"Robertson Scholars" route provides
service between Duke and UNC-Chapel Hill.
"Campus Parking Shuttles" routes provide
service connecting Bassett Drive/Green Zone parking to buildings along
Science Drive and Circuit Drive.
Special "Reduced/Holiday Service" schedules
are released for recesses and exam periods. A bus is operated between
East, West, and Central Campuses during all vacations and during Summer
School Sessions.
Local and regional transportation are provided
by Durham
Area Transit Authority and Triangle
Transit Authority. You can now purchase your DATA
and TTA monthly passes or ticketbooks at Duke Parking and Transportation
Services Office, 2010 Campus Drive from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
Private Taxi Services available "On Points"
(using Duke Flex Accounts): Students and
Employees can use their Flex accounts to purchase private taxi services
for travel throughout Durham and the Triangle area. Charlene's
taxi service is a participant in the Duke "Taxi On Points"
program. Travel is affordably priced, operates 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week and paying is easy with your Duke Flex account!
