Description: This five level parking structure serves permit holders by day, and event attendees at night and on weekends. After 5 pm and on weekends UnIversity and Medical Center employee permit holders have access to permitted spaces which are not reserved in advance for special event parking. Overnight parking in visitor sections by non-PGIV permit holders is prohibited.
Special Information: PGIV is the primary parking location for visitors and employees attending evening and weekend events on Duke's west campus, therefore, event reservations regularly exceed the number of hourly spaces set aside. During large events, permitted and non-permitted customers who regularly park in the permitted portion of the deck afterhours and on weekends may be denied or have access restricted. On those occasions, parking is available in the Chemistry lot.

Special Information: The Blue Zone is reserved for event parking on all HOME football game days. Students with Blue Zone permits are asked to move vehicles to Parking Garage #1 near Duke Hospital South, hours prior to the beginning of all home football games. Detailed arrangements are provided with Blue Zone permits. After 5:00 pm and on weekends, Blue Zone permit holders may not park in lots on West Campus, including Allen, Card, Public Policy, Physics, or PGIV, when gates are down or when these lots are reserved for special events. "Lot Reserved" signage will be placed at the entrance to all reserved lots a minimum of 24 hours prior to the event. This signage will serve as notification, even if the access gates are broken/removed prior to entry.
