Campus routes connect residential, academic, and perimeter lots on East, Central, North (Trent), and West campuses. Campus service is in effect during the Fall and Spring Semesters.

Service to the Erwin Mill Building runs during the fall and spring semesters only.

Campus Parking Shuttles routes connect Bassett Drive/Green Zone parking to buildings along Science Drive and Circuit Drive.

Medical Center routes connect surface and garage parking to Hospital North, Hospital South, and administrative buildings. This service operates year round.

Robertson Scholars route provides service between Duke and UNC-Chapel Hill.

Summer service includes the Medical Center and Campus Parking shuttles, and a modified C-2 bus schedule operated between East, Central and West Campuses.

RDU Airport shuttles are fare-free and operate at Fall Break, Thanksgiving and Spring Break. Students requiring transportation to RDU for Christmas Break are encouraged to contact Charlene's Safe Ride to schedule a trip in advance.

Reduced/Holiday Service schedules are released for recesses and exam periods.

Local and regional transportation are provided by Durham Area Transit Authority and Triangle Transit Authority.

Private Taxi Services available "On Points" (using Duke Flex Accounts): Students and Employees can use their Flex accounts to purchase private taxi services for travel throughout Durham and the Triangle area. Charlene's Safe Ride is a participant in the Duke "Taxi On Points" program. Travel is affordably priced, operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and paying is easy with your Duke Flex account!
